My mother was in the final stages of her life.  Death was looming.  

I lived in a different state. One early morning I woke with the distinct feeling someone was standing in the doorway of my bedroom. I turned on a lamp next to my bed. No one was there. I looked at my clock and went back to sleep. Several hours later my sister called to say my mother died. I asked for the time and heard her say the exact time I had seen on my clock when I thought someone was at my door. I'm convinced my mother came to see me one last time. Her visit got me thinking about life after death. My book: "The Option: A Love Story Cut Short" is a result. This was followed by my second book:  "Finding Tommy".  Both are in the a gay romance genre.
