DL Randle

D.L. won The National Film Board Award for Best Pitch (New Players) at the Banff World Media Festival. She studied writing at the Banff Centre with Canadian icons W.O. Mitchell and Alice Munro. She has acted in two Shakespeare in the Park productions, 'Much Ado About Nothing' in which she got to have a confrontation with swords as the director made 'Antonio' into 'Antonia'. And in 'As You Like It' she got to act one of Shakespeare's most famous pieces; 'All the world's a stage...'

Earning a two year diploma in film and television she has worked as: Casting Director, Extras Casting, Production Assistant, Accounts Payable on such films as Legends of the Fall, The Edge, Cool Runnings, Children of the Dust, One More Mountain etc. as well as casting national TV commercials for Honda and others.

D.L. is working on her next novel; the story of a young boy in the 1960's who volunteers at an animal shelter and discovers he has a psychic connection with the lost animals and can 'see' the owners searching for them.
